All Patient Refined Diagnosis Related Group Classification System

ForwardHealth Training on the All Patient Refined Diagnosis Related Group Classification System

On October 26, 2016, all inpatient hospital providers, financial and billing staff, and billing vendors are encouraged to attend ForwardHealth training on the All Patient Refined Diagnosis Related Group (APR DRG) classification system. This training session will focus on the ForwardHealth implementation of the APR DRG classification system for the pricing of inpatient hospital fee-for-service claims, Medicare crossover claims, and HMO encounters with dates of discharge or "To" dates of service (DOS) on and after January 1, 2017. Attendees are encouraged to have established a secure Provider Portal account prior to attending a training session. This online training session will cover the same topics as the onsite (live) trainings.

Registration

Providers do not need to register to participate in this online (real-time, web-based) training session.

Participation

Online (real-time, web-based) training sessions are facilitated through HP® MyRoom. Prior to attending a MyRoom session for the first time, providers will need to download and install MyRoom software. Access the "Information Regarding HPE® MyRoom" document for basic information regarding downloading, installing, and using MyRoom.
Participants enter MyRoom by selecting the participant key below. Participants may enter the training session at 8:15 a.m. This training session will begin at 8:30 a.m. (CST) and end at 12:00 p.m. (CST).
